We the members of the Rocky Spring Baptist Church have accepted these Scriptures as God’s way of supporting his church.

SHALL WE GIVE

Malachi 3:8

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? In the tithes and offerings.

Malachi 3:10

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Who Will Give

Deuteronomy 16:17

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.

In What Spirit Shall We Give

2 Corinthians 9:7

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.

When Shall We Give

1 Corinthians 16:2

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him that there be no gathering when I come.

Does It Pay To Give Liberally

Proverbs 3:9

Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase:

Proverbs 3:10

So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
